We are still not allowing pet owners in the building. All appointments must be scheduled by phone ahead of time, and pet owners need to call us again from the driveway when they arrive on site. You can also knock on the door if you do not carry a cellphone. From there, a team member from Cody Pet Hospital will meet you on the front walk and bring the pet into the hospital. Please remind us of the right cell phone number to call at this time.
When transferring the care of your pet from you to us, make the transfer safe and try to maintain a ten-foot distance at all times. This is easier for cats as they usually come in carriers. For dogs passing a long leash will be fine.
When the appointment is done, the veterinarian will call to go over the findings, then payment can be made over the phone, and then you will be met outside on the front walkway to pick up your pet. We do take all types of payments. We also ask pet owners who are picking up food or medicine to also adhere to these guidelines and call upon arrival to our practice.
These rules were devised so as to keep the veterinarian, staff, and pet owners safe while still taking excellent care of your pets.
Notice for People Making Deliveries: Deliveries can be left outside of the slider at the end of the driveway, on the folding green table on the driveway, or on the front ramp. No delivery people can be allowed to enter the building during this pandemic. Sadly Massachusetts has been hit very hard by this pandemic and we want to do everything possible to limit our exposure at Cody Pet Hospital.
Our hours are:
Monday – Friday: 8 am to 5 pm
Saturdays: 9 am to 1 pm (we are currently only open one Saturday per month, please give us a call to ensure we are open)
Rest assured that we make changes on a daily basis to best provide for the public health of our community. We will make every attempt to return messages left at 508-384-5904, but please realize that even when we have a full staff, there may be long on-hold times.
Please do not hesitate to call us at any time if you need any clarification of our policies. We will listen to all messages left with the auto-attendant promptly when we arrive at work.
